Database Resilience How to Safely Test Your Recovery Protocols?

I was chatting with a fellow entrepreneur today about the importance of data integrity, and it got me thinking about our own customer records.
Since I run a luxury retail brand, losing our order history would be a total nightmare, so I want to simulate a structural failure to see if our recovery scripts actually work as promised.
It's all about maintaining an established and high-quality safety net for the business operations. Does anyone have experience with specific scripts or tools used to corrupt database files for testing.
